General	General Hints and Tips Your Hot and Cold Water Shutoff valves are located (1) in the ceiling (most likely in your bathroom), (2) underneath the sink in your kitchen and bathroom, (3) behind your toilet, (4) behind your refrigerator if a waterline has been installed and (5) behind your washing machine Check for leaks and moisture  frequently Check your smoke detector operation frequently Check your washing machine hoses frequently
